The Cotswold Traiteur is set to launch a range of take-home gourmet meals, currently sold in its own Gloucestershire shop, to the independent retail trade.
Chef Francis Green, the man behind the Moreton-in-Marsh business, has developed 10 meals, made with locally sourced ingredients, in three portion sizes: 300g, 600g, and 1.2kg.
The range will include regional French classics such as Provençal Daube of beef, Normandy pork casserole (pictured) and Gascon duck leg cassoulet as well as a vegetable tagine and four curries.
The new products, which range in price from £4.25-£19.75, will be unveiled at Heart of England Fine Food’s stand at Food Expo, at the NEC in Birmingham, later this month.
